Lavina “Fawn” McQueen is a retired disabled USAF veteran with 30+ years of experience in Human Resources. She loves providing exceptional customer service and currently works as an Industrial Security Manager for the federal government. While she desires to retire again soon, her desire is to make an impact in her community and in the lives of youth. Fawn obtained a dual bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Human Resources from Park University and has experience in mentoring, editing, coaching, management, and leadership. Fawn witnessed the need for Grandparents and Guardians firsthand after the murder of her cousin as her children are now in the care of their grandmother. She currently resides in Maryland with her husband Dennis McQueen.
