Dr. Rosiline Floyd is the Chief of Staff of Normandy Schools Collaborative, overseeing large district-wide, cross-functional projects and initiatives. Although she has an extensive background in education, her career began as an Electrical Engineer when she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Purdue University in Indiana. Later, Dr. Floyd earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and her doctorate in Higher Educational Administration from Indiana State University in Terre Haute.

She has over 20 years of experience as a consultant, researcher, education advocate, and school administrator, focusing on improving elementary, secondary, and post-secondary educational outcomes of students. Dr. Floyd developed systems, conducted research, and presented locally and nationally on reducing race and socio economics-based education disparities. Her research and work are rooted in implementing culturally sustaining models to promote an increase in college preparation, retention, and graduation rates for students of color, and those from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
